THIS IS ME portrait experience

Something NEW for 2024. These portrait sessions are called "THIS IS ME" because I want to provide a photo shoot where my clients feel comfortable creating images that are more authentic and all about them. To be "you" whatever that means to you - and of course I help you with the design and styling of this photoshoot. 

The idea is to pare things back to make sure your personality shines. We still want you to feel fabulous and confident so complimentary hair and makeup is still included. The makeup is about enhancing how you look so it feels like YOU on a good day with the emphasis is on natural - perfect if you are not used to wearing makeup or love a more natural look. 

The first question I get asked is "what shall I wear?". Once you have booked we send an email with ideas and suggestions and we arrange a follow up call to go over all the details. You will have the chance to try 3/4 different looks/styles.

Why black and white? Because for me black and white photography is timeless and emotive - by stripping away all the colour we are focusing on expression and feeling. We want to create artistic images of you that you will be proud to hang on the walls as art. 

As always I give you constant direction throughout your shoot to capture something more relaxed, more expressive, more authentic, more you. When you look at your images I want you to say yes - THIS IS ME!

Everyone that takes part will be invited to a private party where some of your favourite images will be on display. A fun evening with like minded people - and you are welcome to bring a friend! 

We are a portrait studio based in Cardiff Bay and we have 24 places for these unique portrait sessions. EVERYONE is welcome. Any age/gender/body.
